MySmart Hospitals Trust

MySmart Hospitals Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust
The MySmart Hospitals Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust was formed in September of 2009. We are a Non-Government Voluntary Organisation involved in various welfare activities in the local community. The trust functions with provisions for acquiring, maintaining, and management of creches, homes for the old and disabled, and orphanages. We currently manage a shelter for the elderly with 20 inmates, as our major focus is on the elderly section of the population. The Ponmalligai Geriatric Care engages in periodic house visits, adding elderly people to the program, and providing diagnostics and medical care at concessional rates. The program got exemption under Section 12AA and 80G of Income Tax of India, 1961, for our welfare activities. All donations made to Ponmalligai Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust are exempt from taxes under the same sections. Donors will receive appropriate receipts to claim tax exemptions. All donations are utilized for trust activities including free treatment and treatment at concessional cost for patients from economically weaker sections. All fund allocations will be on public display on our website every year.

Care for public
The MySmart Hospitals Trust conducts free medical camps to promote early diagnosis of diseases and frequent checkups for blood sugar, obesity, diabetes, orthodontic issues, dental health, and general physicals, and distributes free medicines.
The camps are being organised by the MySmart Hospitals Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust since 2003. The camps are held for the benefit of economically weaker sections in the community and there have been over 250 camps to date. Over 25,000 people have taken advantage of the free medical aid to address health issues that their financial issues prevented them from taking care of.
We also offer door step medical aid through the mobile carrier van. Diabetic patients are provided with free Insulin injections from our hospital. The camps also target orphanages and old age homes that have less access to healthcare facilities. We also conduct periodic vaccination camps.
This is our way of giving back to society. It also helps us get closer to our founding values of living in a healthy society where everyone has equal opportunity to quality healthcare.
